I spy me on the internet
Here is my Typography Calendar 2014 in our friends appartment, that was sold earlier this year through hemnet.se. (I loved their appartment, but I now love the house they are living!)
Here is a screenshot from a blog post about my Lettering Workshop in Jakobstad in March this year. The students were really good! Everybody who participate in my workshops suprise me with how good they are drawing and lettering. And they surprise themselves most of the time, realizing how good they actually can work with pen and paper.
Soon I am on it again, a Lettering Workshop will be held at Vintagefabriken in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm in November (change of date since last posting). I will give you full information soon!
Have a great week!

doily lion by the bushcrafter
Look what I've won! Jenny of the Bushcrafter had a giveaway (a looooong time ago, sorry for the delayed winner post, Jenny!) and I won this dead gorgeous plush lion made from a recycled doily. The lion is so adorable with its facial expression created by Jenny. I love him!
Be sure to check Jenny at the Bushcrafter out, because she is a true inspiration when it comes to both traditional and untraditional handicrafts!

loppisrace i purmo
This is how happy I was was selling my out all my vintage stuff at Loppisrace in Purmo in early July. More pictures can be found at Loppisrace.fi.
Aja Lund is the photographer of the photos in this post and also the coordinator for the whole Loppisrace (Flea Market Race). Aja is also running the fabulous Lundagård together with her husband and two companions. We are both night owls so when we meet we mostly chat the night away. She is an inspiring woman and entrepreneur.
Thank you for another great Loppisrace, I got really burnt from standing in the summer sun all day, but I had so much fun! And a big thank you to Elina who shared the space with me!
Aja is shooting us from the second floor. Some of my favourite persons are on this picture, my pregnant sister-in-law (yes, I am gonna be an aunt!!!), her sister and my brave and beautiful friend Lina. Me and Lina are cooking up something sweet. More to come!
Some of my vintage fabrics that I said goodbye to.

vintage fair at Årsta Castle - part 2
Going through pictures from day two of the vintage fair at Årsta Castle I realise I do not have any pictures from other vendors or things being sold. I only have pictures of my own stuff. So now I shamelessly promote myself. We did reorganize our rooms, I got the chance to move to a more open space.
I love to letter white ink on black glossy paper.
I had an idea of recycling old vinyls and came up with the LP (Lettering Play) idea. I really love reusing material, and I love lettering and wall art, so the outcome of the idea was to my content! They are buyable, so if you see something you like give me a shout at fialottajansson[at]gmail.com.
That was me for now.
I wish you all a great end to the month of June, and lovely beginnings to July!

vintage fair at Årsta Castle - part 1
This past weekend was fair weekend for me! I really enjoyed it! Malin of Fiffi's Vintage had organized a great antique and vintage fair at Årsta Castle.
First some pictures from the Fia Lotta Jansson Design corner on Saturday.
I was happy to share the company of Carolina of Marshmallow Electra during the weekend. We always have a lot of fun together. On Saturday morning we drove to the castle and had our breakfast there, complete with the nearness of a big chandelier, some swords and a stuffed moose head!
Below is the beautiful Zoe Durrant of Pete & the Rose Vintage. Go check her wardrobe out!
I was happy (and a quite starstruck) when I realized I was going to have Johanna of PILL jewelry as my neighbour the first day. I have been fascinated by her creations for a couple of years, but never had the chance to meet her until now. I really enjoyed her company, she is a great person!
Me and Johanna traded goods and I absolutely adore my new necklace!
Below is Carolina of Marshmallow Electra selling one of her vintage bathing suits to a happy customer. Here you can find Carolinas shop on the net!
Coming up: part two of my weekend at Årsta Castle!
Have a great Monday y'all!

an amazing gift
I have received a truly amazing gift. Or a swap. A logo for a book. And what a book!!!
Andreas of Skrot & Korn Fyndtjänst finds beautiful things and now he has found this for me. I might be grateful for the next ten to twenty years! It is such a grand source of inspiration. Such a bad ass piece of work and art!
A catalogue of letterpress letters and ornamnets. From the year 1819! They sure knew how to swing their lettering in those days!
