Apologies and Joni

I have tried and wanted to post, if not every at least every second day, but I've been a bit under the weather lately and haven't had much to blog about.

I have, though, been into playing guitar and singing. My friend Kilju the bass player asked me to join him for a Jaco Pastorius Tribute Concert coming Saturday, singing and playing two Joni Mitchell songs. I love Mitchell and have great respect for her musicianship, so it is both an honor and a big challenge to take on her songs. I've been mastering two alternative tunings, both very non-conventional, and that has been easier than I thought. But to sing her melodies and words is harder than I expected. She is a grand crafter in the art of music, I must say! We'll be performing Coyote and Black Crow on the concert, which is held at DooBop Club, Saturday Sept. 22nd.

Have a good Tuesday. I'll get my hair cut later on today! Hooray! Now I will take a nap.

Men sedan då?

Hello Fia Lotta!

Google alert sent me your blog, and I just want to say how wonderful it is that there will be a tribute to Jaco coming up. I have a website, and if you would like me to share the information regarding that night, I would love to do so.

Best wishes, and my thanks to Kilju too! God Bless Jaco!
