X-MAS DIY: Christmas lights

Last year I thrifted a BIG bag of plastic balls (ones used in a ball pools in playgrounds). I tried making a garland by attatching the balls to rag yarn with tape, but I was not pleased with the result. Instead I tried making a light garland, and that was a success! Here is the easy tutorial to that project.

In the end of this post you'll find inspiration to other projects involving a string light series and material you might have at home.

I used:
- ball pool balls
- Christmas string light set
- tape (coloured if you wish)
- utility knife

The tutorial is very easy:
1. Cut a hole in the ball.
2. Stick a light into the hole.
3. Put some tape over the hole to keep the light inside of the ball.

Done!

Here are other projects:

Tutorial and pictures coutesy of Oh Happy Day.

Tutorial and pictures coutesy of Once Wed.

All the best for the coming week and happy crafting!

Jättesnyggt! Om jag visste var jag kunde få tag på såna bollar så skulle jag också göra.
