X-MAS DIY: tangerine hearts

My mother-in-law Kira is a preschool teacher and she made these tangerine hearts with her group of kids. It is so simple and so beautiful. It is also a great way to get your children to eat fruit since they get to play with the food!

You will need:
- tangerines
- metal wire
- ribbons for decoration

1. Peel one or two tangerines. Make small pieces out of the skin.

2. Form the metal wire into a heart shape.  Leave a long end to make a hook later.

3. Slip the tangerine peel pieces onto the metal wire.

4. Join the ends of the metal wire  as shown in the picture below. Tie a ribbon to the heart and you are done!

Happy crafting!
