test dress and final dress

I did not actually sew the test dress, I just pinned it to see how the pattern fit. But it won't take long putting it all together. I'm thinking an white dotted red fabric for bias tape.




I am really pleased with the dress, concodering it is the first one I've done from scratch following a pattern.

Several wore their own made dresses at the wedding last Saturday. A-K is showing hers off on her blog. Very beautiful! the fabric is an old bed sheet she has colored.

This will be one of my favourite garments of the summer. What is, according to you, the best thing to wear in summer?
