Ta-daaa! An instant refashion project!
It started from this and with some adjustments I turned it into this:
Some hand sewing :)
It took me one evening and one morning to finish it! We had our syjunta yesterday evening, I got inspired by my fellow crafters, got an idea and knew I wanted to wear it ('cause I wanted something new) for a coffee date I had with my best friend today. So I put the scissors into a felted wool sweater and for the first time I am really satisfied with the result!
I wore my new sweater with my vintage high waist jeans (unfortunately they do not look so vintage high waist-y in the picture...) and the wrist warmers my mother in law knitted from wonderful Noro yarn. I felt FABULOUS! That is a feeling a staying at home mom needs to indulge in once in a while! It was also lovely to meet my best friend for a coffee, since she lives 100 km away.
How was your day? I hope you had some good things coming your way!
All the best for the weekend!

Tack!
