

No, I am not contributing to global warming (at least not deliberately)! I am making wood for warming our house during winter. Back at the farm, at my parent's house, working. I get a bit sentimental.



Working the machinery was a bit scary, though they are quite safe nowadays. My father could tell me about the old machines and how the big blade was totally uncovered. Dangerous!
I love this kind of rough work, you really feel like you are doing something worth doing. Real craft work!
Right now I am enjoying sitting near a burning fire in our stove. It is could outside but warm indoors. Lovely.
