MALAKTA - the second summer

I love this place; Malakta Konstverkstad (Malakta Art Factory).

Lovely buttons hanging in a rack from the ceiling is the first thing I see when I step into the Art Factory!Pictures from the kitchen.

Home baked goodies in the café.

Maja behind the counter.

My friend J's feet. Lovely grapics, bot on the pillows and on J's ankle.

Malakta is open again for the summer. Yesterday they had a picnic park during the day and a concert with the extraordinary and exellent band Thoby Loth in the evening. I feel so much at home there, walking around the yard, rummaging amongst finds in the second hand shop and sitting in the café sipping coffee and eating Maja's wonderful pastries.

The owners Jukka and Maja are great people and they are realizing their dream. If you are able you should defineately visit them and their Art Factory this summer. If you'd like to organize an event of any kind do contact Maja or Jukka, they can offer space and great service.

Today I will sew and design, because Malakta, its owners and the people I got to meet and talk to yesterday, got me so inspired to create. Isn't that the way it should be?!

Happy Monday to you all!

Hejsan! Varför tycker jag att Malakta låter så bekant? Har du skrivit om dem förr eller har de varit i någon tidning? Ser underbart ut i alla fall! kram.
