dress me up in second hand


This is one of my more successful remade thrift finds. A simple souvenir t-shirt, with golden Hong Kong pattern. I made it about four years ago and I still wear it.



 I cut the T off right above the bust and removed the sleeves. I scaled down the top part. I ruffled the bottom part and sewed it back onto the top. I also ruffled the shoulders of the sleeves before I sewed them back onto the top (I had made the armholes smaller when I scaled down the top, that way I was able to get ruffles on the shoulders). I cut off the neckline elastics and then I was done.
