what became of the rowanberries?

This is what became of my dried rowanberries. I wanted to make hearts. I still have strings of berries left. The hearts were supposed to window decorations for the christening, but I did not have time to hang them (how is it that no matter how well you try to prepare and no matter how early you start you always have heaps of things to do the last minute????!!!!).

The hearts became table decorations instead.
