I pinned all the squares up on the wall to keep them organized. That was a good idea!
For a moment I naively thought that finding the right fabrics and colors must be the hardest thing with making a quilt... (I now silently laugh at my own foolish late night thoughts.) When I put the strips of squares together I realized that so is definately not the case! Oh my, next time I will NOT cut the squares by hand using a paper ruler, if I want to continue making quilts I need a ROLLER CUTTER and a BIG fabric ruler!!!!!
I really admire all you quilt makers!
I am still quite happy with my quilt, because I am very pleased with the fabrics and the way the colors are organized (once again I need to give credit to my husband:). And it is my first quilt with more than 5 pieces of fabric so it may look the way it does! Trial and error...
It will become a quilt for the baby. E got a quilt from his aunt C and has used it a lot! Now he found it again and is walking around with it in the house, taking moments to sleep on it and playing peekaboo.
Today some shopping with friend J!

Hei og takk for hyggelig hilsen! Det ble desverre ikke deg som vant denne gangen men det kan komme flere konkurranser:)
Så flott blogg du har! Her var det masse inspirasjon og hente.
Fortsatt fin dag;)
This is a lovely quilt, the colours are vibrant and the arrangement is very creative. I love it! I too am making my first quilt, for my 8 month old baby. I was lucky enough that I was given a roller cutter and board before I started - they are brilliant!
This is a lovely quilt. The colours are really vibrant and the arrangement of the squares looks fantastic. Well done! I too am making my first ever quilt. I was lucky enough to receive a roller cutter and board as a gift before I started though. They are brilliant to use.
