long awaited summer dress

I think I started making this dress last winter, but I was not satisfied with the shirring and I left it. A few days ago I cut off the length and put straps for the shoulders. After the photo shoot I did one more alteration; a tighter elastic right under the bust to give it a better fit.

I love the thrifted fabric, an old bed sheet! Still got some left, might make a matching tunic for E.
