Lucinda Guy is a textile designer/maker and creates wonderful and non-traditional clothing, toys and other knits and crochets for children. She has also written books for children teaching them how to knit and crochet.I love the lay out of the books, and of course the designs; they are not your usual patterns for childrens clothing and toys and other accessories. I taught myself and 2 of my kids to knit a couple months ago. we're still doing scarf stuff.
