Lots of food was eaten, and we do like eating good food in this family:)
This is a new favourite as Christmas dinner dessert; ginger bread parfait!
I made my own sweets for Christmas. This paper used to contain a piece of ice choclate with orange before it was eaten by my husband (who is reflected in the plate).
Me in a blurry picture wearing a Christmas gift from my sister; a lovely and comfortable dress with a pattern of cassette tapes.
Ginger bread cookies. Decorated and good to eat!
Even a few more exotic versions appeared in our ginger bread basket! We also had crocodiles!
This is one of my absolute favorite thrift finds before Christmas. An Aarikka candle holder. I had seen a much bigger one in a picture in a magazine and thought "when I get rich I'll get one of those":) it was over 100 €... Then a few days after, strolling in a local thrift shop I found this, a much smaller version of the one I saw in the magazine, but a real Aarikka never the less! It was only 1,20€, and when I was about to pay I was told that every Christmas product was 50% off! Happy me! I did not dare to tell the lady behind the counter that it was a real Aarikka until I had paid, in case she would have realized the value of the treasure and charged me more.
